The Power Of Our Testimonies
I love Baptism Sundays at our church. My favorite part is hearing the testimonies of the people being baptized. As I listen to each on, there is a theme. They may all be different and unique in many ways, but there is one common denominator in all of them.
The name of Jesus!
When I sit and listen to these brothers and sisters in Christ, I hear that they were once lost. The enemy had fed them lies and he had used the people around them to make those lies look like the truth. I am reminded of my own testimony and where I was when I was lost too.
“Then I heard a loud voice in heaven, saying, “Now the salvation, and the power, and the kingdom of our God and the authority of His Christ have come, for the accuser of our brethren has been thrown down, he who accuses them before our God day and night. And they overcame him because of the blood of the Lamb and because of the word of their testimony, and they did not love their life even when faced with death.” Revelation 12:10-11
We have overcome by the blood of the Lamb!
The other important element in this scripture is that they overcame by the word of their testimony.
Our testimony brings the love of our Heavenly Father to life.
Our testimony exposes our need for a Savior to light.
Our testimony shows the sacrifice of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Our testimony expresses the reality of the Holy Spirit in our lives.
Our testimony illuminates what a life in Christ looks like.
Our testimony gives hope to a hopeless world! Share on XToo many times we are afraid to share it, with the fear of what people will think. Other times we fear ours is too simple and doesn’t have the same affect as someone else’s testimony. This is not the truth!
My heart is to share my testimonies transparently. My heart is also to encourage others to share their testimonies. I have made a place available on this website for people to share their testimonies. If you give me permission, I will share them on the blog as well.
Every testimony is important. There is always someone who needs to hear your testimony, no matter how simple or insignificant you may feel it is.
I encourage you to go to the link on my website and share your story! You can find mine at https://arenewedcreation.com/testimonies/. Let’s shine the light of Jesus together in this dark world and give others the hope that we have!

I was once lost and now I am found, blind but now I see……
so thankful for our loving, merciful God who called me to Himself and out of darkness.
At one time I only knew Him as the God of who I heard of in church and had no real connection to Him :(. I was living for self and approval of others and was a slave to sin. BUT GOD….. called me out of darkness and created a new desire in my heart to love and serve Him fully with my life.
Today I am filled with the joy of the Lord! I am so thankful that I could shout it from rooftops everywhere that He is the One true God and He is love and He is waiting and calling on you to have a deep relationship with Him thru His Son Jesus Christ! Go where He is calling, trust Him with your life……you will never be sorry for the choice of Christ and a life of faith. …”Whom the Son sets free are free indeed”…there is no other way! 🙂 Merry Christmas one and all xxoo
