HI! I want to welcome you here with open arms and a big hug. Take off your shoes, make yourself at home and let’s get to know one another better.
My name is Desiree Taylor. I am a wife to my wonderful, loving husband, Duane. We have been married for twenty years and counting. We have two sons. Kyle is twenty-two and finishing college. David is seventeen and will be graduating this year. He will be attending college in the Fall, so we are slowly moving towards empty nesting.
I enjoy reading, writing, hanging with family and friends. I love spending time with the youth girls at our church and leading small group bible studies with the women. I am a woman of prayer and I enjoy just sitting and listening to those who need someone. My main ministry has been my home and as the boys have grown, ministry has grown as well. I have loved writing and I believe God has given me the opportunity to use that to love and encourage others. Speaking is a close second.
I have a sensorineural hearing loss and grew up gradually losing my hearing. I have gone from wearing one hearing aid, to two, and now I have cochlear implants. A few years ago our youngest son David was diagnosed as well. I have a heart for those who struggle with disabilities and those that love them.
I have received Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior. I encourage you to take a trip over to the, “God’s Story In My Life” page where you will find my whole testimony. This blog has come out of that testimony and walking with the Lord on a daily basis since. My heart for this blog is to be a place where we can walk out this journey with Jesus together, as we become renewed creations, being transformed and renewed from the inside out, day by day.
May this be a place where we can share our joys, our struggles, and be strengthened and encouraged by one another.
